Hi all,

Another glorious couple of days at Brands Hatch led to some sun-burnt lips and the first Brands suntan of the year. Good crowd on Sunday - although seriously, how dis-organised was the traffic management on the way out? - and a fun day had by all.

So on to the serious business. All shot using my 20D and 100-400 lens.

And that's all from me. Thanks for looking. All comments gratefully received.

Off to Lydden this weekend for a slight change in pace...

Lovely :)
#1 (The Leons) is spot on and that's a nice catch of the F. Renault in the kitty litter.

I spent all day watching the fun on TV and there was a noticable reduction in panel bashing. Given the bigger field in both the BTCC and Clio Cup it was a very pleasant surprise. Let's hope it continues.

The battle between Matt Neal and Giovannardi in race 3 was fantastic too.

Less Panel bashing, the TV didn't do a good job on the coverage then. The Vauxhalls with their designed for bashing Front Wings were being put to good use, I can't see how they are legal. Erkut was driving like he was on the playstation and barging his way through. The front end of the Civics make a hell of a mess on the track when they go. Lights and the perspex bit between them takes a lot of sweeping to sort that out.
Darren Turner in the Seat had his fair share of shunts and delivered a fair few too.
Plus others that i can't remember who caused or got hit but there was plenty or pannel bashing, but the racing was good too.
And how Onslow-Cole managed to drive from post 3 to past post 4a through the gravel is a fantastic skilll, but he has good experience of that gravel trap from his Clio days.
