Well I finally called up and made my purchase with Alienbees yesterday...

I ended up ordering:
(1) ABR800 Ringflash
(1) Moon Unit
(1) ABR800 Bag
(1) 48" Gold/Silver Reversible Umbrella
(1) 10' Universal Light Stand

I was figuring that I could use this unit as a "one-light" setup and learn my way around that.

But over the weekend I found a Craiglist listing for the following older White Lightning setup (I picked them up today):
(2) White Lightning WL-5000
(1) White Lightning Ultra 600
(1) White Lightning LiteMod Snoot
(1) White Lightning LiteMod Barndoors
(2) Photoflex Litestands Model LS-2214
(1) Photoflex Round White/Silver Lite Disc
(1) "The Eclipse" Black/White Umbrella
(1) "The Eclipse" Black/Silver Umbrella
(1) RST-1 Remote Slave Trigger
Plus several studio lighting books, bags, clamps, clips, etc...

Everything was used only twice (perfect like-new condition), in their original boxes with instruction manuals and everything!!!

I just ordered a bunch of the ebay wireless slave triggers to run the whole system on. I know these lights are older units but I'll now have a four-light setup that I can learn with for years!!! :)

Sorry, I don't mean to rub it in....OK, maybe a little....I'm just so excited about getting started on this new stage in my photography development.

When I first saw the price I was thinking that everything just had to be in the worst (professionally used) beat-up condition. I can't imagine what my face must have looked like when I waked through the persons door and everything was neatly put away in the original "Paul C Buff, Inc" boxes. I opened them up and I swear I don't think these things have really ever been touched (she said they were sitting in her garage for close to 5 years). There isn't one scratch/mark/etc on anything!!!
