I just check the status of my 17-40L on the Mack Warranty site and the status is listed as "Location: CANON - Reason: MANUFACTURER" as of 3/31. They recieved the lens the first week of march and its date of entry is 3/7. Ever since they recieved it the lens has been listed as "In Line at Technician" up through the end of last week. When I called them at the start of the repair I was told 10-20 business days (and I've heard elswhere they are good on their word for the most part). So tomorrow is the 20th business day, but since the status changed to being at Canon in the last few days is this something to worry about?

anyone experience this? I am going to call them tomorrow to see what the word is but untill then I figured I would ask here and see if anyone knew.

thanks in advance!

I've never had to execute a mack warranty, but I've bought them for my video equipment.

Is there a way you can get some info from Mack so that you can call Canon directly and see what the deal is? Maybe they are waiting on parts or some thing from JP?

moew!!!!!
