Does anyone else watch this show? Tonight it was about an ill photographer.. Anyone know which camera she was using? All I noticed was that it was a Canon. :)

Yea, I watch it. One of my favorite shows to watch.

The episode will play in one hour where I live. I'll try and get a look at it.

If I saw right, it was some form of 1D..probably a MkIIN, but then again I'm no expert, especially when it comes to the 1 series. :)

It's Tivoing here right now (West Coast). I'll watch it later so I can skip through the commercials.

Alright. It looked like the 24-70 with a 1-series. I Couldn't see see the little label to see how much writing was on it so I'm not too sure on that.

Yup, 1-series with a brick. I know they do this on TV, but the sound was a film 1-series with a motor drive.

I watch it every week.

Holy Crap! I thought I was the only one that noticed that, then I wasn't sure. Because the first time I saw the camera, I was like "Hey, a 1D!" then she took a picture of House, and I heard the motor drive and was like..."Ok. It must be an EOS 1 series film then."

Later in the show, I got a better look at it and saw that it was in fact digital, because in the one scene, you can see the LCD when she holds the camera up to her face to take a picture. I wasn't sure on the lens though..I'm not that good yet.:)

Lord are we camera nerds. :p

We are Geeks not Nerds. Big difference :)

I liked the show when it came out. I work in the medical industry and just can't make myself watch it anymore. Slightly exaggerated but his personality fits some of the physicians I support. Now by watching that show, it does nothing but stress me out. I had to give it up.

Yeah, plus when you first see it and he walks in her room, she's sitting there chimping. can't do that with film.

House (How well do you know)

If anyone watched House last night (I'm not a TV watcher but I do like this show) Last night there was a Pro Photographer in that had a Canon Camera I thought it might have been the MkIII I am curious if anyone watched and knows if I am right?

My guess is Canon 1DmkIIN

Wierd..I only posted once on this thread. Agree on it and WOW even picking out the film sound...attention to details.

I didn't watch it (not really into TV), but highly doubt it... Usually the shows are recorded a few months in advance (at least), so I doubt they would have had their hands on a camera which was kept pretty well under wraps until right before PMA, anything is possible though...

It's funny you should mention it, I actually watched that episode (I never watch House). I'm pretty sure it was a 30D.

I saw that last night too! Right away I was like, "hey, that's a Canon!" Then I saw that she was shooting with The Brick. It was then that I knew all was right in the world. :)

What I want to know is where did all those prints keep magically appearing from?

Pro photographer, bah. She didn't have 'er hood on!

Naturally, I had to jet - and missed the last ten minutes of the show! ARGH.
