The final round of the CSRA National and Regional Championships, rolled into Horseshoe Resort last weekend, with a few Championships cliched and others on the line.

Mother nature had a great day in store for racers, crews and spectators, on Saturday, however she decided to rain on the parade a bit on Sunday, but as usual, that great crew of the CSRA kept the action rolling, and everyone got to witness great racing.

I decided to spend Sunday as a spectator, and actually watch some racing and must say there was some exciting action going on all over the track.

Two for the title Mike Van Dolder on the Brentwood Roofing Ski-Doo seen here leading Peter Raymer on the OTSFF/RJ's Motorsports Arctic Cat, clinched his first number one plate with a convincing win in Pro Open, but Raymer took the Pro Stock title over Van Dolder.

Fear this Dave Joanis may be the most feared rider in the series, as his silky smooth get the job done riding style aboard the Royal Distributing/Bourques Auto Sales Polaris, allowed Dave to sweep to 3 Sport titles this season, and showed he could win in Semi-pro also.

It was a great season of racing, great times with the racers and crews, and wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the staff and crew of the CSRA that make it happen, no matter how bitter the weather is every weekend.

Absolutely gourgeous, all of them! I love the white snow in the background, it really helps to isolate the snow mobiles and riders. However, I can also see how the bright white snow would present a challenge with exposure settings!

Question, were you shooting with flash on any of these?

Thanks Gates.

I actually don't find metering to be an issue anymore, since I shoot in manual.

Using flash with snowmobiles is tricky, due to all the riders clothing having reflective striping on their clothing, so I only use flash when shooting night racing.
