Taken from a hill on the road to Buttermere, shown as a good viewing point on the map, and is well worth. North and south views of Derwent water.

I really like the second, though I think a rectangular crop would have suited it better.

Taken in RAW, then I run them through DxO (v4.2) in the auto mode. (I hate PP RAW files), any that need that special touch in DxO can be done again. I then use CS2 as follows:
Crop
Curves
Saturation
sharpen
all the above if needed and to my taste, then run the script for the border.
