I just checked to see what is happening.. WOWZA! Things are looking great... Love how the pages are looking... and I'm looking forward to getting my copy when it's ready. The teasers are great too! :)

AWESOME work everyone.. It's probably more work than you originally thought going into this, but sooooo appreciated. :)

OK, we're progressing, but doing a lot of work (editing) for little gain (editing!!). Lots of nit-picks to keep things consistent - don't want to forget the L on someone's lens!

A few of us are away and/or busy for the holiday weekend, so little progress expected this weekend. But we're still on track - thinking it will be available at the end of June, with any luck (or a lack of bad luck!)

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

Well.... it's that little gain that's gonna make all the difference! And anyone who's been working on the project deserves at *least* the weekend off!

Thanks again for all your work. Don't think I can adequately express how much it's appreciated.

Maybe all the book project folks could be rewarded with a bigger avatar. :D

Or at least an Acknowledgements section within the book

Yes, a great idea. I would also like to see mention of just how large and diverse the POTN community is. You know for example, mention of how many folks belong and the many different countries that have members.

We are ahead of you! There is a full page devoted to acknowledgments for all the POTNers who have helped out and how. There is also a bit on this page for the history of the book project itself..

Great ideas!

But we've had them covered for some time. :-)

We have a rather large Acknowledgments page, due to the fact that MANY people pitched in to help. Over 50 people have helped this project in some way, NONE of it trivial. Many thanks to them all again!

For diversification, we have the photographer's country clearly listed. It's nice to flip through, seeing not only US, UK, Australia but Bolivia and The Netherlands and Israel and many others. POTN is not just about the big populated countries. We cover the world. :-)

And wait until you see the front and back flaps, some text about POTN from both Pekka and CDS. No plans to tease you with that - buy the book! :-)
(Hey, each flap is "only" a few paragraphs of text, but they say a lot!)
