Bruce from Blurb has agreed to rush this version through the system to save almost 2 weeks of idle time.

Well *that's* pretty cool! :)

Rear ends or not, we sure appreciate everyone's efforts to pull this together. :D

Quick update...

All the proofing has been completed. I'm currently working on sharpening and page preparation, and I'm about 40% complete. This part is proceeding much quicker than I'd thought, which is great.

Once image prep is done I'll actually assemble the book, which means placing each image into the Blurb software. I'll then upload a version "for our eyes only" so that we can proof it. Bruce from Blurb has agreed to rush this version through the system to save almost 2 weeks of idle time.

There will be 4 of us ordering a "proof" copy, going over it page-by-page to catch any problems, tweak colors and shadows, ensure that sharpening is top-notch, etc. Any images that need improvements will be tweaked in Photoshop and re-assembled into the book. This version will be made available for everyone to order.

I'm now expecting the POTN Book to be available by the end of June.

Does Blurb create a PDF file (I'm not really that familar with the book creation process at Blurb). If so, will that also be available (as well as the hardcopy of the book) to those that buy the publication? Would be cool to have an electronic version.

Dave
