Your most used/lest used lens

Ive noticed that some POTN members have quite the collection of lenses, whether it be red ringed or not. I dont have too many, actually two and one has been sent in and I already miss it, and it has not even been a full day.

So that got me thinking, which lens in your collection do you use the most? And which one do you use the least? (Maybe, JUST MAYBE, when one recognizes the least used lens they MAY want to sell it:p )

Most: Was my 85 1.8 (sent in)
Least: Was the kit until the 85 went in. Now its my only lens:p

Most used Canon 70-200 f4l
Least used 50 1.8

I have several thosand pics with the 50mm but since the 17-55 has arived the 50mm hasn't been back on the camera. The 17-55 is quickly catching up to the 70-200.

My approach has been to think every lens purchase to bloody death. the result has been that I love to death every lens I own. I own

70-300 IS
tamron 17-50mm
canon 60mm macro

All FABULOUS for my purposes. The Canon 10-22mm will be on its way sooN! YIPPEE

Most used: 24-70L
Least used: 28-105

Most used: 50 1.4

Least used: Sigma 20 1.8

Ronald, on the 5D, the 85 1.8 is amazing! I use it more than the 50 1.4

My most used lens varies between the 17-55 f/2.8, 70-200 f/2.8 and Sigma 50-500 f/4-6.3 depending on whether I am doing mostly general, sports or wildlife photography at the time.

My least use lens is the 17-40 f/4 which is really redundant since I got the 17-55, but I have to keep it just in case I want to use the D60 or EOS 3 cameras.

Most used 50mm f/1.4 and 35mm f/2.0

Most: 24-105
Least: 50/1.8

Most used: Canon 500mm f4
Least used: Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS

I know it. I used that combo for a while for stage photography. I like the 50 on FF, though. Fantastic walkaround.

Overall, my most used is my Tokina 12-24. I've only had my Tamron 17-50 for a little while, but I'm sure that will be one of my more used lenses.

I use the following lenses very regularly:

Tokina 12-24
Tamron 17-50
Canon 80-200L
Canon 28 f/1.8
Sigma 105 macro.

I use the 50 f/1.4 when I need a bit more reach in low light, or extremely shallow DOF.

I don't use my Perspective Correction 35mm Nikkor that often, but it is great when you need a shift lens.

My least used lens is my Lensbaby 2, but I'm glad I have it. Every once in a while it's perfect for the type of shot I want. I've sold images with it, so it's doing something right!
