Too many people with dogs around today to get a pic of the ellusive Kingfisher,did see one but it flew past at the speed of sound.Had to make do with the Chaffinch,not too disappointed though as there`s always tomorrow.

beautiful captures!
I like the combination of the color of the bird and the color of the background a lot, it really makes the pictures a joy to look at.

The bokeh is very nice, which lens did you use for these pictures?

Carlton, very nice sharp pics, I guess from your exif you were using a 400mm f/2.8 with a 2x ? if that is the case I am amazed at the sharpness with a 2x.

Erez,Nick the lens was the 400mm f2.8 + EX x 2 then tweaked a little using DPP.
