Over the last few days I have been watching Hummingbirds gather nest materials before my AM class started.

Today the weather was somewhat decent, allowing for me to try and get my first images of hummingbirds.

I am in awe of everyone who has taken good photo's of these birds. I don't think I will do much better than this...

Excellent shot, tells a story, nicely framed and captured. What else can you ask for? Well done.

Wonderful shot Dave, and wow how lucky do you have to be to get that!
Would have been nice if the wings could have been slowed down a bit with a higher shutter speed but WOW what a photo, I love it!

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback ... until this shot I had no idea how hard it was to capture good shots of these little speedsters.

And what a wonderful shot there. Sharp and great timing. So neat to see them in action.
