I've lived in the DC area for about 5-6 years, and in MD before then the rest of my life, so it seems odd to me that I never have gotten down to the famous cherry blossom festival.

I only took a few shots, but for some reason, I love this one.

Thoughts?

I agree with Pup, a great shot if exposed a little better

I actually kind of like the dark image: it gives a certain moodiness to the picture, though I wouldn't mind seeing it brightened up some for comparison.

Either way, I'd consider cropping out the OOF blossom at the top edge, and maybe a bit off the right - frame it with just the triangle of three lights in the picture, maybe. Definitely keeping the Memorial (if I'm right about what that building is; I've never been to DC) in the shot, of course.

That being said, I like the shot quite a bit as-is.

I think u have good reason to like this shot.

I'm not a naturesque, skyline, or landscape type of photographer but I found my eyes lingering on this one for a lil while. I think CG, is spot on with the crop. At the very least the leaves/blossoms at the top edge are bit distracting. With a bit of processing, I think there's great potential to make it even more compelling. Well done.
