His eyes tell you a story!!! Awesome shots!

(I think these are a little on the big side for posting, but it doesn't bother ME!)

He still has one more move.

Great series and tell a real story. They have a gritty look which adds to them, really well done....:)

I find myself drawn to these pictures and wonder about the little boy. Where does he live? No...not going to stalk him..... ;) He just has one of those faces where you just feel like he's such a cute kid and you want to help him. Who knows, he could live in Hollywood and be rich but just played in the dirt.....

The color ones look great, the black and white one is too dark for my taste. Also i would see about bring on the contrast between the dirt and the face color. That type of highlighting would really serve to show the plight of the child.

I would really like to see #2 in color. I think it would be a pretty good color photo.

Overall its a really well done series.

Where were these taken??

cheers

Edit: just looking over some threads at Dpreview trying to find one on Cambodia and ran across
This set of images (external link). Realy well done if you ask me. Thought you might want to have a look.

and also This site (external link) is well done too. Really great photos.

I think you did quite well with the dragonizing technique.

What is that?

I really like this set. I am also wondering where this child lives? What have you done in PP? I really like the look of these.

The technique is called dragonizing. It basically adds grunge to the image. There is a great action for it.

Hi mojos, your photos are very thought provoking, excellent show of character, I could almost see you back packing through third world countries showing life through the eyes of children ... have you considered this

Love your work .... keep it up
