Over the last month I've had to send my 60day old 70-200 f2.8L IS in for service. Fixed and back to me in 5 days. Dropped my 5D and really dinged the case and had no idea of internal damage. Got it back today (7 day turn around), new case, 5 internal parts replaced, and cleaned, charged for labor only. Enclose in the box was a note from the tech who worked the job asking that if the camera was still wonky to send it back with one of my lenses and it would be fixed OR REPLACED. Just wanted to post some good service experiences.

I've had to deal with NJ twice and Calif twice. I had pretty much the same experience as you. I was satisfied with the performance of both locations.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Where are they located in NJ? Maybe I'd rather take a drive there than ship it through mail.

yes! you'll get faster turn around (if not on the spot) and you save on shipping/insurance.
