I took this photo about a year ago at Stirling Castle and I came across it while looking for some other shots and decided to try and work it a little. I know it breaks a few compositional rules, but I thought the way it ended up looked quite interesting.

This shot is designed to look slightly "stylised" and I would be interested to know what people think of it, so all comments / feedback welcomed.

I like it. Very beautiful country and a great historical figure. He wasn't too concerned about the rules.

Thanks Jungle, I appreciate the feedback. I've been in Scotland for 3 years now and still the countryside amazes me every time we venture out into it! I just wish I could spend more time exploring it (and less time stuck in an office) :)

Cheers,
Graham

Great pic! Clouds make it dramatic.

Thanks for the kind comments BB18, adifor and tumblew33d!

The clouds are all real and original and have not been tweaked directly. When I de-saturated the blue of the sky (and reduced the luminance) it seemed to bring the clouds out.
