Well I posted several other pictures from my trip to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History in another area of the forum, and no one seemes to care.
(The link if you want http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=300464)

This shot was hand held, indoors with a Tokina 80-400mm lens. I just got it an wanted to push it to see what it could do. This one is not very sharp, but for hand held @ 400mm and 1/125, I think it was o.k. (had to use 1600 speed on my rebel xt to even get 1/125th). Some color correcting, and about 90% crop was the only pp done.

I think it is a great lens with huge potential. I cannot wait for it to stop snowing in Cleveland so that I can get out to use it.

No, he is alive. I got plenty of him when he turned his head and only got his back. It was a live animal show, where volunteers from the museum talk about the animals. Most of the animals (since it is not a zoo) are rescued, either they were injured to the point where they would die in the wild, or they wre imprinted, and unable to hunt for themselves.

Thanks for looking!

It is a nice shot, try to get an angle where the handler is not showing. The actual owl is quite beautiful.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p
