Congratulations Dave and good luck with your new toy. Glad to hear you will keep checking in on us here. As tempting as it is to make the jump I'm still not ready and I'm not sure if I ever will be.![]() Don't be afraid. I jumped from SD700 to DSLR with absolutely no hassle whatsoever. A camera isn't hard to figure out. Remembering to set your ISO down after having it at 3200 is the biggest problem I've run into on a DSLR.

I've been having that problem ALOT lately on my S3. I turn it on and take some shots and THEN realize that its at 800. Either my girlfriend is playing april fools jokes on me, or I hit the button accidentally. I never have it at 800, and it would take 5 or so accidental hits of the ISO button to get it to 800. Hmmmm ... Im thinking it may be the girlfriend. lol ...Thomas

The problem with mine is nothing in Oklahoma to take pictures of. Maybe you are fortunate enough to be in a scenic bubble of the state. Bernie

Apr 13, 2007 13:27 | #12 haha, main reason is that it just doesn't give the types of images I want to take (blurred backgrounds and stuff like that), there is nothing wrong with the image quality on the S3, I've sold dozens of them on shutterstock, I just want to step it up a little bit
