Well as you all probably know by now, the NY autoshow is in town so I decided to head out there and practice my photography yesterday. I used my Canon 24-105L and Tokina 12-24mm. I found that the UWA is best of this kind of photography (DUH!) but I did switch back and forth to get the detail shots. In total I was there for around 4 hours and took about 650 shots. I ended up with 147 keepers. Here's a sample, the rest are in my gallery (C&C Welcome):

I am planning to go this wedesday, they had some nice cars, great job on taking the pics. Did they have the tent outside with the hookup cars. I plan on buying another lens for the car shows, should I get the canon 24-105 or can I get the 28-135?

They didn't have a tent outside but there was a section before the paid entrance that featured modified cars. Honestly, I think all you need is a ultra wide angle and maybe something that goes in closer for the detailed shots. I think a 85mm f/1.8 would be perfect for this coz of the low light.
