Don't drink if there is a taser in the room. The scars on my arm from last night are living proof.

Drawinian, I think that has to do with the evolution theory / biology. I'm not sure if we learn that in Canadian schools? Maybe?
Care to elaborate anyway? LOL.
Taser is absolutely safe!

Ahh c'mon man,.
You post images of doing something REALLY stupid,.
You pretty much acknowledge that it's stupid in your own post,
......then your mad that people agree with you?

The images aren't doing anything for me but make me laugh in the same way I laugh every time they show someone tag themselves in the jewels on those "stupidest home movie" shows..

I think I need to get a more powerful taser. This ones a little weak, not too much fun. Got it from dealextreme.com, it's adv for 600k volts, but it seems a little weak. This ain't making no thief fall to the ground, you'd need to litteraly hold it there for like 15 seconds for them to fall.
Is it really that stupid? It definitley makes for some fun games I'll have to think of for the next party.

In about 10 years you'll likely look back and see just how stupid it really is ;-)a

Having fun and staying safe is all that matters though, right? If that was a gun and we were playing russian roulette, I would agree, however, this is simply a fun little device that is more safe then that swiss army knife on your keychain, LOL.

...no, it isn't.

Electical charges of any voltage cause involuntary seisures throughout the body. One day, you'll be playing one of your drunken taser games and someone will collapse from their heart stopping or lungs...exploding, or something. I don't even want to go into what a taser does to the human brain; freakin' melts it, man!

Meanwhile, I just cut myself with my Swiss Army Knife.

Oh, and nice photos. I like the second one best.

From these little tasers, I've NEVER EVER heard of someone getting injured.
There is seriously very little amperage involved.
And I dunno, I read how tasers work, this one must be pretty weak, cause I can function fine after a shock (as can everyone else who took one.).
If, however, you would like to cite me some articles, and cases where people have injured themselves with consumer devices like this (if you link me to a millitary / police taser gun I'm going to laugh), then I would be very interested, for our personal safety.

But if no one can prove it to you, you might as well take the chance huh? No sense playing it safe when there is potential drunken fun involved!

Like I said, in 10 years you'll understand...

If the chance of me being injured by a taser is slimmer then me getting hit by a car when I walk outside (which I believe it probably is, because I remember researching them a while back and finding nothing about these consumer devices being dangerous, even the police ones I think are relatively safe, although a lot more painful), then I'm not going to let it stop my life. Maybe I will understand in 10 years, but now I don't see why I should fear something.
Cigarettes have been proven to kill, I don't smoke, but I don't see you going up to smokers calling them idiots (although I'm sure there are some people who have the nerve to do so.) There are a lot of things that I believe are worse for me. I burned my finger with a jet lighter a month and a half ago, ended up being a 2nd degree burn that hurt like hell. The funny thing is, that taser is loads safer, it won't give me a second degree burn, and it won't burn down the house.
You decide if you should fear everything that sounds a bit dangerous. Are you saying you won't ride a rollercoaster because there's been a few rare instances where someone has been injured or killed on the ride?
Having fun is part of life, and I'm not passing it up when the chance of something happening to me from having that fun is so slim.
The alcohol is much much more dangerous. The damage it will do to my body over time (poor liver), and the risk that I might do something super stupid when drunk, or someone might drink and drive and harm someone else, is much much worse.

I'm not going to argue with you -- this isn't appropriate for this forum. Go zap your friends with a taser and have a blast. Better?

Police tasers are certainly a lot safer than being shot instead...but can't be much fun.

A little toy like Jaggie's got is unlikely to any harm - unless you are fitted with a pacemaker or are epileptic. Or have one of those rare heart diseases that causes promising young athletes to drop dead on the court...

I don't see the fuss, personally.
