Well it was a fun weekend out in Moses Lake. 2 crazy square dancing kids tied the knot, and Victoria G (Tish) helped me out. It was a day for the record books with a solid 5 minute ceremony, Gavin calling some square dances and a twix bar to bribe the ring bearer to come down the aisle! The groom is a fellow wedding photographer himself.

They are all very good and unique as well. Great job Corey and I especially like the second last shot.

She was so full of laughter--#2 is my favorite, followed by number 5. I'm insanely jealous of both!

The weather was GORGEOUS, as you can see from Corey's pics.

Here's a few:

The reason I still keep my ancient 100mm NON USM (read noisy as hell) macro:

Yes, this is the same pose as Corey's last one, shot from the side!

The wedding was very casual, and the reception was held in a square dance hall. The bride changed into a dancing dress & the groom turned out to be one heck of a dance caller!

Definitely a unique wedding!

Oh, and a PS to jamiewexler: The mojo worked. :) The best shots WERE on your old 20D!

Very nice work (except #3 which makes me a little sea-sick .. some tilt shots really look good and add to the composition but some look like they are taken just for the sake of taking a tilt shot)

But overall nice clean & creative work.

Nice work... to both Corey and Tish. :)

Corey I love the cross-processed look of the railroad tracks photo... and Tish... that bride standing in front of a mirror? or doorway is absolutely GORGEOUS! It's definately worthy of being published in a magazine or book.

Corey, GREAT shots! I especially like #2 and #5. What did you use for lighting? Natural?

Trish - excellent shots as well!

Those rocks look painful on the back though. Comes close to a trash the dress shot.

thanks all!

Mostly natural, some fill flash on some, and a little help on some others.

Corey - thanks for the "behind the scenes" pics. Do you have more? I am very interested (as I'm sure others are) in these to see how you come out with such incredible shots.

Please pardon my ignorance and lack of knowledge for certain outdoor lighting - but is that a silver reflector to bounce back the light (I don't think it is) or a transparent one to block the harsh sun (I think it is this one)?
