Thanks again guys.

My recent experience of the set-up - having tried to use it "properly" over the last few days - has done nothing to diminish my enthusiasm for it...

Little grebe

All at 560mm, handheld. Light was pretty crappy too, for the most part...

I'm pretty pleased with the sharpness and detail of the mallard picture, given that this was nominally at f/5.6 - and he was going ballistic!

If I find anything else in the 2000+ pictures I took over the last few days that might be of interest, I'll post 'em up!
