Red-winged Blackbirds

On Easter Sunday, I got out to the wetlands and got a few shots of this common resident. As abundant as this little bird is, I've always thought the Red-winged Blackbird is an amazingly beautiful bird.

I was shooting with the Canon 500 mm L series lens and a 1.4 tele-extender.

Neither Monopod or Tripod.....but rather the hood of the truck for that particular series.

I shall email you some shots.

The last two are really nice! The touch of green really compliments the red patches beautifully.
