Honolulu POTN Hale

Aloha, welcome to Honolulu's POTN Hale(house).

The first thread I started was for a meeting to get to know each other and photograph a landmark. It is also the center of discussion and is increasing in size. I started this thread so I can link all the meetings we have and continue on with general chatting without increasing our photograph threads.

This thread is not restricted to Honolulu POTN members, so everyone is welcome to chat whenever you want.

Yes...flew them in Iraq in 2004-05 for OIF2. Awesome helicopter.

linkzi, that isnt my ride, but i was goin to post a picture that i took in my jet shop.

btw, can u take me a for a spin in the helicopter? can i fly it too if i get pretty good at flight simulator?

If I was still in the National Guard, it wouldn't be a problem with a Chinook. If you were a HFD Fire Fighter, I could take you with Air1. I am a fairly new employee with this red helicopter, so you'd have to wait awhile. But, if you get hurt or in a dangerous situation hiking in the mountains or swimming, you can get a short ride to the ambulance with Air1.
