Have to either figure out a better way to carry everything or just not go out with everything. Hehe! most of us carry as much as we can. I prefer the color "magic island" shot better and those are some very nice Punchbowl pics. Aloha,

On a side note, anyone has the 14mm F2.8? was reading on some review and not too bad for a "super wide angle" i tried one out on my ff body and it looks to be excellent for taking front row concert shots. i almost bought it but got the 16-35II instead. a good linear lens, with good low light performance. i tried it on my 1.3 crop body and the shots still looked really good, but don't know how well it would work with 1.6 crop bodies, if at all. i'm a canon gear junkie..........i..... need....help............toward buying me more canon gear

I went out and shot my cousin's cousin's senior portraits today. I went to grab a reflector, checked B&H and they were selling it for $75. Unfortunately Kaimuki had it for $120... needless to say I went without a reflector today. I'll post some shots in a minute... Full Gear List

On an unrelated note, I was asking the guy at Kaimuki about their prices for light stands and umbrellas... $60 for a Bogen stand, $25 for an umbrella, and $35 for a bracket. Good idea? I don't think I'd save all that much by ordering... Full Gear List

I prefer shooting with all natural light when possible, because it preserves the natural dimension and contrast in an image. It also flatters the subject by keeping skin soft with minimal shine. There's a kit from B&H with two light stands, two convertible umbrellas, and two brackets. they're impact brand, not as good as bogen/photoflex, but mine seem pretty good and shipping wasn't all that bad. came out to the same price as 1 from kaimuki.

If it was the same as mine, then you wouldn't save too much money online. Aloha,
