Did a shoot for a local designer today with the help of Ainoko. Here's two pictures.
Unfortunately she didnt want to go with the locations I had in mind and was set on shooting it at UH..

Nice shots PocketNinja. What kind of lighting setup did you use? Trying to learn more about this type of photography.

There were quite a few keepers but too lazy to edit them.. Lighting was a single AB1600 with either a silver umbrella or a white one. I may add another AB to the setup soon.

I will never understand the Hawaiian obsession with squirrels. My friend was telling me about his trip to the mainland, and he spent most of his time taking pictures of squirrels.

Squirrels? I thought they were mongooses.

PoketN: nice work as always. Lighting is whack! Do you use a light meter?

Thanks Linkzi, I dont use a light meter. Normally I roughly know where the light should be but I had a hard time using the Alienbee, the output of light is really strong..

That photo really shows some lighting power.

Photoshop fakes some lighting power :)
I think that shot could have easily be done with a 580EX's power, but the clean spread of light can only be achieved by a monolight..

Model wasn't so great in my opinion. Did not look or act as one..
On a happier note, two girls that I've shot in the past two months that have become my good friends have been hired by two of Japan's largest fashion magazines includng can-can. They'll be doing the feature shoots for every issue for at least three months.
