On a happier note, two girls that I've shot in the past two months that have become my good friends have been hired by two of Japan's largest fashion magazines includng can-can. They'll be doing the feature shoots for every issue for at least three months. Yeah, your last model looked either tired or bored. Congrats on your gigs! (what do photogs call jobs?) You gots skills! Aloha,

I've been using wacom for a number of years. I like the added control it gives you, especially in the area of cut-outs and masking in conjunction with app's like fluidmask. i'm a canon gear junkie..........i..... need....help............toward buying me more canon gear

Cloning and selecting doesn't offer that much of an advantage if you're adept at using the normal mouse, but once you get used to the wacom hardware it's hard to go back to the old way. Wacom solutions also have good compatibility metrics with many other app's. The biggest advantage i've run into is the aprreciable increase in workflow rate that this tablet brings. My only advice is to get the biggest one you can afford, and if you really like it then you can progress onto the interactive touchscreens. Cons: Not much other than if it crashes, you're gonna really miss it until it gets replaced. edit - i forgot to mention that if you are ambidextrous, then using the mouse in the left hand and the pen in the right is a killer way to ramp up productivity. Thanks, the cut-outs and masking were two of the things that I was hoping to improve.
