I think we should discuss why we were short on entries in this contest. I think people put it off because it wasn't simple and moderator did not remind contestants. You need to consistantly remind people or it will be forgotten..yeah i blanked on the contest too. meh. sorry guys EOS 5Dmk3x2 | 24L | 50L | 135L

That's what I was thinking...school is beginning so people are busy with other things...and that could have been the reason the forum was so dead too. http://www.flickr.com/photos/samanax/

Couple of reasons for me. It was partially because "Shadows" took a little more thinking than "Red"--my fish idea popped into my head pretty quickly with "Red," but nothing inspired me for "Shadows." I wanted to be a little more creative, but unfortunately that didn't happen. The other, probably bigger, reason was that for me the weeks leading up to the start of school and the first week of school are my busiest times of the year. This year is actually not bad because I've had a few minutes here and there to breathe (like now), but I'm still way behind on what needs to get done. I definitely want to keep the contests going--prize doesn't matter to me much, I just like having a reason to go out and shoot.

I'd like to keep the photo contests going too. Having to think about the theme and then how to shoot it is helping to push me creatively. http://www.flickr.com/photos/samanax/
