I am making the jump from my Rebel XT to the 5D, skipping the 30D - 20D which probably would've offered better perspective but making the move to FF is a big deal to me. Can't wait to see how much more I will get out it at 50 and 17.

Once you see that LARGE viewfinder, you will be floored like I was when I first looked through it. You will love it, and with your current lenses, its like getting new ones!! Welcome to the FF club!!!

Welcome to the FF club!!! Just be warned (seriously), you will never look through the view finder of your XT ever again. I tried to use my XTi after I got my 5D .. it just feels so constricted ... like looking through a tunnel... Kevin
