I know some people have been frustrated with the Canon Rebate Program, and I thought I would share my experience.
Mailed in on 3-21 and received check on 4-9. Pretty fast I thought. However........ as I looked at the check I noticed my last name was spelled incorrectly.:(
Regardless... my bank said "No Problem":D ( I think I'll wait till it clears first)
Now how do I spend the $200.00 dollars

You already spent the $200 by giving Canon a interest free loan for 3/4 weeks. Want to spend it again? Canon should have another rebate program kicking off in a couple of weeks. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

I had no issues when I sent mine in this time either. It was approved in about two weeks.

Hey! They spelt my name incorrectly as well (they really butchered it... about 3 or 4 letters).

They also misspelt my address. :-\

But the bank took it fine.

..Snip... anyone got the numvber.

Try (877) 862-6870

On my rebate, they sent out 2 cards that everything was approved for both items, but they only sent a rebate check for one item. When contacted, they claimed that I hadn't sent in one of the UPC's. A copy was then sent in, but it takes another 2-3 months to process, even if everything goes well.

There is a reason why companies offer rebates - they know that they will only pay a fraction of the nominal cost because many people just get frustrated and give up. I will never again be swayed to buy something from Canon just because they are offering rebates.

????????? I'm not sure what you mean by this.
He's still got $200.00 more than he would have had if he bought without rebates.
