Hello,

I was thinking of buying a printer to use for printing my photos, my cam is Canon PowerShot A95.

I am not sure about the best brand for printing photos of good quality .. there's an offer on Olivitte printers in my area, which includes a scanner and a copier along with the printer, is it a good brand or should i look for a better one?

I'd avoid "All-in-one" jobs; 3x as many things to go wrong. Epson and Canon are probably at least among the better brands. But ink costs will drain you faster than hanging around the lens forum here.

Do u mean it's not practical and that ink cost will be high no matter what brand i choose :(

I have been using HP photosmart printers now for the pass 5 years and just updated to the B 8300 series to print 13 x 19 and i just love the IQ of the pic's. If you print alot it will cost you in ink. pos

Ink costs a lot, whether you print a lot or very rarely (the cartridges tend to dry out if unused). I pull "proofs" on a colour laser and send final prints out to a lab.
