I was thrilled when I read about the upcoming release of DPP 3.0. Finally it's here and I installed it. I processed several sets of photos through it and quite frankly, I think Canon rushed it out the door. It's pretty buggy. Here is what I don't like about the new features:
1.) When double clicking on a thumbnail for editiong, the editing tool palatte floats, there is no way to make it dock.
2.) Not only are my preview thumbnails extremely blurry, but when I double click one one, SOMETIMES the enlarged image is pixelated. The only way to get rid of the pixilization is to double click on the image again enlarging it to 100%, then double clicking again to reduce the size.
3.) It's nice that they added a NR tab to choose NR for an individual image, but now there is no was to apply NR to all images simultaneously, other than using a recipe. I prefer a global option that can be toggled on or off.
I uninstalled 3.0 and re-installed 2.2. Maybe Canon can get it right with 3.1
