Very Close Match

Here's a few shots from my local rugby teams game at the weekend, a very close fought match with the end result being 26-24 in favour of Kippax Welfare. they were playing Birkenshaw and I only found out at the end of the match that the two teams are 1st and 2nd in the league; so that would explain the close score. I'm not usually a big rugby fan but I thoroughly enjoyed this game.

Nice set of shots. I like the bottom one best. I shoot rugby from time to time and have good fun doing so.

Thanks Michael, it was an enjoyable shoot and a good match to watch; quite physical. It was a very; very sunny day which caught me out on a few of them as you can see.

No 2 and last are the best, was this rugby league? i love shooting league, keep them coming because we are getting quite a big rugby following on here

Yes i think it's league, no big forwards like union

It was in fact League but as for no big forwards; I certainly wouldn't walk up to this guy and call him shorty butcha27, I was using my 1DmkIIn with my 100-400L all hand held. I've got a few more from this match, may post them if I get time. Thanks for looking.
