So i dropped off my 5D to Fedex this morning and its headed to Jamestown NJ to have its pentaprism replaced. just to refresh your memory, i had this debacle a few months ago. now im suffering the 5D withdrawal symptoms:

1. my 24-70 isnt as wide on my 30D.
2. i miss the indentation on the grip
3. definitely missing that sweet sounding shutter release

and its only been a few hours!!

When I sent my 5D in I had to hold my breath for 10 days till I got it back. Luckily I could take a breath now and then with my 10D

My sympathies, but I'm using mine now, so you can't borrow it. If you're good, I might tell you where I'm shooting and you can come listen . . .
