Thanksk Graystar for your feedback. I think my printer was off when I tried x'fering but will need to pay closer attention when I try again. By the way do you Off or unplugged from USB port? What is interesting is that I specifically purchased a Canon PIXMA printer thinking there would be excellent compatibaility with a Canon camera. Thanks agin for your input. Any other good input out there?

do it the easy way, don't load the software. Just use the white USB cord that comes with the camera, plug it in (camera and computer), be in "recycle" mode and a "new" drive pops up, just go to my computer and click it and you can get all your pics there, few seconds is all it takes. I transfer them that way.
