Ok here goes, from someone who has never shot in a studio. Nice model your shot brings out a sense of strength and beauty for me. a strong and confident pose that works well for her. B&W work perfect, lovely skin tones and exposure. The eyes have an appearance of slight over sharpening but that may be a size/web/monitor thing. There's an odd shadow on the models right breast that makes it appear much smaller than the right breast or dented. Slightly hard shadows in the neck and under the nose. The nose then looks a bit harsh. However, any negative criticism there is because I am looking hard for it? If this were on Share photos, I would have just felt envy for a great shot and that chance to stare at a gorgeous woman!

I'd prefer having her arms down at her side, or folded across her chest. I don't like "armpits in your face" pictures. If I were the photog in that situation, I'd probably tickle her before I tripped the shutter and catch her reaction. ;)

I agree with most of the preceeding comments, but would like to add that her right arm / armpit is too close to the lens for my taste, it seems disproportionately large.

Otherwsise a nice shot, good exposure and enough modelling on the face to give some shape without harsh shadows.

I agree also with most here, but I do also want to credit you highly on making this plus sized model look beautiful and not at all looking plus sized. She looks fantastic, great choice of accenting her strong points.

I agree that she is a beautiful model.

There is one thing that is really bothering me with the picture (and it is probably just the crop.) The left side of the picture (her right arm) appears to start just above her camisole. On the right side there is a clear defined line where her body contours on the left it is this mass of flesh that almost makes her look like an amputee. (I am in no way trying to be cruel, don't get me wrong)

I would also try to remove the shadow under her right breast as at a first glance it does give the impression of an unusual dent.

Other than that I like the pose, I like the look on her face, the b&w is doing it for me. Great Work.

I just noticed the shadow on her breast, but I dont think the arm looks like it was amputated, maybe you could stretch the pic out a bit more to show more of her arm, but I think it looks ok the way it is. She looks like a joy to work with, natural looking poses. Looking forward to more photos of this model and your work.
