Cute models although your second shot looks a little "washed out"....nothing a little PP couldn't fix.

I was wondering that as I made my last comment but IMO, it doesn't work too well with this pic. Instead of adding to the "feel" of the pic, it looks more accidental.

thats a good point, the girl on the right prefered a even less saturated, more sepia tone to it. i will play around a bit more

I knew what he was trying to achieve.. I think if you play with contrast and curves, you'll get a better outcome.. it's a teensy bit muddy or something, and it will look better... Something like this maybe.....

Cute models! I don't care for the look on #2, and both look over processed in either skin smoothing or noise removal. The skin tones in #2 look almost grayish on my monitor (calibrated), I think thats what is turning me off from that one. But take what I say with a grain of salt, At least you are out shooting cute females while I am at home shooting my cats! :(
