Yes Dan. It was a captive bird, shot through the bars. I just got lucky with the pose, normally the birds are just sitting there doing nothing...

I've since learnt that this is a female bird. The males are smaller and without the black markings.

So more aerobics and less sumo then... (I don't know of that many female sumo wrestlers!)
