Very nice - I feel like "SKATEBOARDING" (The Mag) should be printed in large text on the top of the shot. The only thing that distracts a little from the subject IMO is the blown out area .

Where in Washington State did you take this, or is it Washington Street? Makes sence for it to be under a bridge with the weather we have.

Yeah, the left is a bit blown out, but a fantastic shot otherwise. Nice work!

Blow out is a shame as my eyes go straight to that and hunt around it!

nice shot of the grab. you could definitely crop in a bit tighter but don't lose that bottom edge so you can show his air. but nice lighting. maybe a hotshoe flash for fill. could help a little with the blown out area.

very nice indeed! i know exactly where that place is too. i work in the mission brewery building. we face the airport, i can see right in there from our office. i've thought about going down w/my cam to try a few shots.

also, i heard it's quite a cool story about how that place came to be. skaters 1 vs city of sd 0.

Great shot! IMO, the blown out area works okay for this shot. It eliminates a lot of the people that were in the background, keeping interest on the green board and the look on the dude's face.

Yeah the blow out was fairly difficult to avoid without a flash while using the wide lens.
I got some others where i just avoided highlights alltogether.
