Two little boys overjoyed by the simple pleasures that we have definately grown to overlook. This is a slight crop from the original, and the only other alterations that have been made are a slight curves adjustment.

Like many of the photos I like best, this one captures a dynamic moment in time and tells a story. I find myself imagining that they are looking at a picture someone has taken of them.

As a critique, I would like it better if there were no half-revealed adults in the background. Or perhaps if the adults' faces were shown interacting with the kids, they could become part of the story. As the photo stands, the passive presence of the adults' torsos are a distraction from the main subject -- the kids' reaction to the picture on the LCD.

nice story telling shot.
it looks like the adults were looking too so a version with them in it would have been kewl too.
I think id crop out the bit of chin/nose at the top even if it ment chopping heads a little.
either that blur it in PS.

hey guys, thanks for the comments

I didn't even consider taking a picture of the kids while their parents were watching as well...the little kids were just so amazing to watch, and they had such a great time that I totally got caught up in the moment and have a ton of photos that look the same (with their adorable smiling faces and dirty fingers all over the lens of the little camera...).

here's another photo from the same series that shows an older brother who was also very interested in us.

These pics are great! The one criticism I'd have here is that in the first picture the boy with the stick seems a bit blurry. Otherwise, really interesting shots!

It's awesome that the machete is nearly as big as the kid!
