Sometimes it's just too much fun to quit. Shooting Izzy last Sunday was like that. He is a doll (most of the time).

Available light, grab shot. Comments and suggestions always appreciated.

My goodness! He should be a child model. Great image Dave, but shame bout the background... at least the dof helped. ;)

Thanks for commenting. Izzy is a joy to photograph. I know I'm partial but I think he's pretty cute too.

Oh my gosh... where have you been hiding this child?? He is adorable... Love the shot... A little bit dark, but you can't do much better with f2.8 and ISO3200!!

What camera body do you have that shoots at ISO 3200 without getting massive amounts of grain? My 20D doesn't do well much over 800 and even that is pushing it...

Anyway.. cute shot and thanks for sharing this cutie.... : )

Thanks Kristy - Izzy has been around. He's just developing...

The camera is a 20D. Lens was probably the 85/1.8.

Wow!! Impressive... How do you manage 3200 ISO without grain?? I can't even get that nice of a shot at 800.... with my 20D

CS3 and Neat Image? Neat Image has to be tightly controlled so I put it last in my process so I can Fade the effect.

Oh yeah.. Neat Image... I have the free version.. I never use it because I just don't "get it"... makes everything look so fake.... Maybe like you said, and using layers.... Yours looks pretty good if you ask me..

Oh yeah.. that would be the best answer... someday.... or even better the MarkII series... drool....

Or Mark III wih usable 6400 ISO... DROOL!!! I used noise ninja for a while. I think neat images works better? Using it in layers is probably the best way of using it.

Thanks, I finally broke down and bought the Pro version of Neat Image and use it as a plug-in to CS2/3. I have recieved comments in the past that my worked looked over-processed so I've cut way back on it but the Pro version allows a lot of adjustment to the process.

I do like the 5D suggestion though...
