We have and love our G7, and still use the old G2 every once in awile. The G7 takes good video as well. Use it often.

I have a fujifilm f700 which actually just broke a few days ago... if I do end up getting a PS to replace it (which I doubt, I'd much rather spend ~$300 on something for my dSLR) I'd get a fuji f31...

I am so proud of my S3.

Have a Casio Exilim not really a fantastic camera or anything but decent enough; because it sees an incredibly amount of noise in less then great light it can be limited. Its really good for situation where I can't or don't want to bring the SLR because it fits in your pocket and very unobtrusive.

I have a Canon A75 that the wife usually uses now. I also have a newer Fuji F31fd, which is decent for high-iso shooting. It's not like a DSLR, but it's a lot better than any other P&S I've used for low-light. I like the size too. It's not perfect (wish it had better manual controls, IS and a wider lens), but it's not bad.

No but I repeat; It is all a DSLR gives you even more (On manual mode all the changes you make with F or speed are relected visually on LCD, somethig I haven't seen on any SLR; The LCD moves however you want it, I badly miss this feature on DSLRs for over the head, camera raised shootings and off course 12 x optical lens with IS).

So what else would I need to ask for? Pleasure of caring heavy weight gadget or cleaning that notrious sensor dust??????:rolleyes:

I have a Powershot S60 which is pretty good for what it does. What I like about it is that it takes the same card as my 300D and my new 40D.

Having always been told that it's "the glass" that gives you the quality, I've only ever used it for holiday snaps and the fact that it will fit in my pocket.

I don't expect it to produce images that I can get with my Tamron Macro or my 70-200 2.8 IS. "You get what you pay for", I suppose

Canon S400. It takes great pictures, but the shutter lag is too long.

Canon Digital Ixus 40. Use it rarely, but carry it with me all the time, just in case...

You obviously haven't tried a Mark III or 40D with Live View...
