No I haven't but I just bought my wife a Canon Ixus 860IS for Xmas. Been trying not to play with it too much though, it does belong to her after all:)

Dont think she has even read the manual yet:wink:

Canon Powershot A620 - Had it since January 2006 and image count is on 22736! It's a great little workhorse! It used to be my main camera, but it's now resigned to trips when I can't take my 40D with me (due to space), and my aerial photography work (see link in sig!)

Would like a G9 but have been spending far too much recently ;) Actually I would like a G10 which has a 28mm lens, a fold out screen, an F2 lens, and a large low-noise 8MP or 10MP sensor .... guess I should keep dreaming :p

I have a IXUS 860 IS. Had to replace my S60 Powershot which I really enjoyed, and liked its manual controls. I had to return the 860 after two days as it was soft down one side of the frame. Am still waiting on a replacement.

Canon G10. Great to take on business trips when I want a camera "just in case" and don't want to lug the DSLR.

Some stuff that says "Canon" on it and a happy trigger finger.

had my S2IS before my 40D. Great camera to use, taken it with me on overseas trips as well as hiking. It survived falling down a hillside (in my lowepro bag).

Its also a good camera to use while trying to scout new locations

I traded in my PnS for my 5D body. Boy do I regret that. I so want a PnS again just for fun shots!

Unless you can call my upgraded 400D a point and shoot....
I can't be bothered taking crap photos (a good pns would also set me back $$ I'd rather spend on SLR gear), unless they're going to make me want to look at them later, I'd rather have no camera at all.

Have both a G7 and a Pro1, or should I say, I had a G7 until one of my Daughters lost her S70 and decided she liked the G7. So now I'm back to the Pro1 when I don't want to lug any of the bigger stuff.

Pro1 is a great P&S with a super lens and RAW. Very usable, ISO even up to 400 with some Noise Reduction in post processing. Nice optical viewfinder which shows the settings just like the big boys. Super macro function also.

My wife has a Casio Exilim, and while it's not technically a P&S, more of a wanna-be DSLR, I have a Fuji S5000 that she uses, and I still use my Fuji S6000fd. I consider them P&S, since I can't swap the lenses. I do like the S6000fd a lot though.

But, give me my Canon 10D, or my soon to arrive Canon 20D, any day of the week. Being able to put different lenses on for different reasons is a must-have ability.
