But now that I have a 5D, it's probably not going to see any use by me....should probably sell it. My other digital camera is the SD600: having a small pocket camera can be convenient. Canon 5D mk IV

However, I really don't have a use for one anymore. Even still, if I go out, my girlfriend always carries her p&s with her, so I can just use hers if need be.

JWright Planes, trains and ham radio... 18,399 posts Likes: 35 Joined Dec 2004 More info | Before she started using my D60, my wife bought a Canon A70. Now it just sits and collects dust. I don't know about the P&S digitals now, but ones like the A70 are useless. The puny little viewfinder shows 90% or less of the actual image and when the LCD screen is used (to get the entire image in the frame) it blanks out just before the picture is taken so you have no idea if the framing is right or not. These cameras should be called POS instead of P&S... John

I have my Nikon 8700. That one goes all over the place with me as it is small, light and , well compact. I also have a HP850 as my "abuse the crap out of it" camera. It takes a beating. It has even rolled down a mountainside, about 200 feet bouncing the whole way and still workd flawlessly. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

It gets used along with the DSLRs in addition to coming along with me as a small, handy camera for the rest of the time. Jon
