Hi,
Sorry, new to forums and the terminology, not sure what Zombie Post means? it was a reply to my post about my point and shoot camears. Thanks a lot.

Okay, I think I can answer my own question... Duh!

Zombie = dead, so looking at the dates on the posts I think it means I revived a dead thread?

Dunno if this is a no-no, if so as an inexperienced newbie I apologise for any offence/inconvenience.

Actually a newbie that knows how to use the search function to find an old thread like this is a pleasant surprise--and a popular subject judging from the 10 pages of responses since you resurrected it.

As far as I'm concerned you get a gold star ;)

Welcome to the neighborhood--enjoy your stay--and don't be afraid to ask questions.

I have 2
IXUS 80IS & Powershot S5IS

I'll be upgrading the Powershot S5IS in the next few months...i try to my p&s and dslr bodies every 12-18 months. My wife works for canon so with her staff discount, it effectively costs me nothing to upgrade as the price of a new camera is what i get for my old one sold on ebay... :)

I also have the Canon SD870IS and usually have it in my purse at all times. It takes a pretty good photo.
