SD870 IS - One of the few point and shoots with a 35mm equivalent 28-105. For some reason most compacts don't have much of a wide angle.

I have a Pentax W30. Takes decent pictures overall, the macro is excellent. I do a lot of fishing so I use it to take underwater shots and when it's raining. I also use it for video clips.

I don't have one myself but I can easily borrow a Canon Powershot A720 IS (I think that's the one) anytime I want, though I'd rather not. I'll take my DSLR anywhere.

Yes, a Panasonic Lumix LX3. Small, handy, fast lens, nice range (limited, but proper WA is what I wanted), more or less pocketable (breast or coat, not trouser pocket). I find myself shooting black and white a lot with it. Seems to suit it nicely.

The 300D and new 5D mk II are much nicer to actually use, but I simply cannot take either along on a daily basis...

G9 here, all gripped out. Of course my wife thinks it's hers now since I got the SLR, "what on earth do you need two camers for?".

Sure do. I even pack it in my camera bag all the time, just in case. It's a Kodak M1033.
