I have a FugiFilm FinePix 4700, which is a very good full featured camera that runs on rechargable AA batteries and is not very big at all. It is great for traveling when I don't want to carry my 400D, especially when flying, given the probelms going through airports.

I've just realised that I have totally LOST my P&S! I have not got a clue where it is, where I last used it or what I might have done with it! how bad is that? i can't believe I've been so careless. I'm a bit shocked as it was not cheap when i bought it and I am usually so careful about 'stuff'.....

But I know exactly where my 20D and my lenses and tripod and flashes and Giottos rocket and monod and QR plates and batteries and chargers and memory cards are. I've just checked!

I have a Canon S410 (4 megapixel) camera but after using it for several years, I wanted to upgrade. I bought a Pentax A20, (10 megapixel) camera because of good reviews and price. It does a very nice job, especially outdoors where I can usually keep the ASA setting at 64.

Here's a couple of shots taken out in the Florida Everglades using it. They suffer quite a bit from compression for the web. The original size of the camera files are more than 50x38 inches @ 72dpi.

Make that another vote for the good old trusty G2. Thing is like what 6-7 years old now, has 15,000-20,000 shots on it, and still shoots like new. It is built like a tank.

Although I must admit I'm thinking about selling it for a few bucks and picking up a A710IS -- have you seen this little beast? I can't believe how many features Canon packed into a $250 camera (7.1 MP, Image Stabilization, 6X Optical Zoom, 2.5" LCD, goes on and on). I just bought one for my dad (SLRs are just too complicated for him)

Ive got 2 Point and shoots (4 if I could find my old Olympus and Sony) I've got a Panasonic TZ-1 w/Underwater Housing, Really enjoy how small this camera is with the big zoom, fits pretty well in my Vest pocket or Tank Bag when Im ridding (Definatly not enough room for a DSLR) and lives in the wifes purse a lot of the time. I've got a Sanyo 5mp Cam I picked up on Ebay for $20 and converted it to IR, works well, but focus is off and it lacks any kind of Manual focus option :(

BTW, here's a picture that I took using the SD750 just after I got it. I took my sister and her daughter to the Japanese Friendship Garden in San Jose.

Panasonic Fz-7 :) Great camera for daytime photography but dark shots show tons of alpha noise in almost any iso. Makes a handy backup since it weighs next to nothing with a 12x optical zoom and can take filters.

Btw, Hi! Im the new guy ;)

I've got a Powershot S80, it's got a decent range of manual controls and I've got an underwater housing for it ;)
