Hi there, I thought some of you may be interested in seeing the 5D plus 70-200L f/4 IS and Canon 1.4x Mk II Teleconverter in action.

So, I went and 'shot' this moonwalking busker in Murray Street Mall in the CBD area of Perth, Western Australia. These are RAW's, developed out of RawShooter and then just resized, minor sharpening and perhaps a smidgeon of 'Shadows/Highlights' in PS CS2.

Here he is, warming up (124mm):

In full moonwalking action (208mm):

Some interested onlookers (98mm):

Getting right into it (280mm):

A willing assistant, picked from the crowd (98mm):

And, finally, another happy onlooker - I just love those boots (280mm):

I hope you enjoyed and got some benefit from these,

Hmm, they're candid shots. Not much else to say really. Colour is good, focus good. The problem with these kind of photos is that you were in the moment which means you can relate and they mean more to you or envoke something different for you than for us just looking at them; therefore, if they are technically good, there's not much more to say really. You can easily pick the American/European (#3) and Japanese (#6) tourists. lol

They remind me of some buskers I've seen.

Great reach and colors. I dig it!

I'd bet that the "willing assistant" was a shill. ;)

Fair call, csm328. Hadn't thought of it that way. I should have posted in the technical forums. Appreciate the candour.

Thanks to all of the others for your kind comments. SingingSabre, I wouldn't bet that she was a 'plant' (if I interpret 'shill' correctly). Us Aussies are usually willing to participate in something like this, we don't mind making a fool out of ourselves :)
