American Football in Scotland !!!

Yes, I know seems unlikely but there is a thriving Football scene here in the UK and my local team the Edinburgh Wolves kicked off the 2007 season with a win over the local rivals the Glasgow Tigers.
Have done some rugby photography in the past but first time for football.
I am here asking for tips on shooting future games. I.e. where to position yourself, following the play. I didn't get too many sharp results (not sure if using the 1.4x on my 70-200 was adding to the focusing problem - used servo mode).

Great pics! Nice angles. American football seems to be taking off over there in the UK. It is by far the most popular sport here in the US.

My girlfriends brother is playing "gridiron" in Australia as well. It's becoming popular, but will never overtake soccer.
