I'm working on a project and would like to start with a fresh version of LR. right now i have about 30 folders in the library. is there a way to remove them all besides doing it one by one?

I haven't used the program yet, but can't you just start a new folder somewhere and make that the root folder for the new library?

good thought. i 'll have to find out if it saves data into a file. I can delete 1 by 1 in lr, i would think they would have a feature where you can just erase in bulk.

There is no need to erase anything. You can use a new library. Did you try File > New (not sure if there is one but I know you can use multiple libraries). In fact many people set LR to ask what library they want to use when opening LR (Edit > Preferences). Then they point LR to the library of their choice.

Holding down the [Ctrl] key (in windows) during startup causes Lightroom to prompt you to either select a library file (I have them set up for Test, personal & Business) or create a new one.
