I usually dont take pics of the crazy guy behind my camera :p
But I figured WHAT THA HEY! So I set up my AB800 and took some.
I wanted to make sure I got the light in the eyes to illuminate them, kinda like a marble as opposed to straight on thus making them black.

C&C always welcomed. Be gentle,lol.

AB800 @ 1/16
ISO 100
f/9
1/250
and somewhere between 40-45mm

Personally I really like the first shot. I really like the lighting on it and the facial expression. Between the two it is a mysterious shot, very nicely executed.

Unfortunatly, though pretty much a requirement, the signature/logo in the right hand corner is very over powering and as such very distracting. Though like I said it is a great shot. Nice work!

Great shots, first one is best. The watermark, although a little too it's pretty cool.

Yup I looked at it and did agree it looked a bit too much. I also thought there was too much darkness on the left side, and it also made my nose look weird. Here is another one with the logo a lil less abrasive.

Very cool... it's hard to do a self portrait... just the act of trying to achieve a good focus is challenging, much less posing and not knowing what you look like from behind the lens... I think you did a great job on these.. :)

I thought your logo was a tattoo.... Oops

It is/was gonna be. I still have to think it over.
But yes I agree I had no idea where it was focusing exactly, I just made sure I could see myself in the lens, guessed where the center focus would be, adjusted accordingly and snapped.

I also use the * focus lock so I had to reach around, press and then press the shutter button with my thumb. Thank you glad you all like it.

Keep the c&c coming.

How you doin'? ;)

Honestly, I preferred your very first shot (sans huge watermark) with the shadow to the left. It gave you that mysterious quality as opposed to the cut-in-half face effect. I couldn't decide if you were vulnerable or dangerous - meaning I was engaged by the shot. Very nice, at least you had fun doing it. The second shot, I couldn't get past that tiny little dingleberry on your bottom eye lash. I'm a little OCD though, so just ignore me.

Totally dangerous:D

Lmao dingleberry? I have long eyelashes, sometimes very small particles fall on them, and it seems they just snatch'em up.:p A curse I have to live with. Look at this one, same eye, same photo session (?) and yet no "dinglberry":p

But thank you for the c&c:D.;)
